Muchmore UK RugRacers '09-'10 Info:
Dates:
Round 1: 11th October 2009
Round 2: 1st November 2009
Round 3: 6th December 2009
Round 4: 3rd January 2010

Doors open at 7.30am and we need to be out of the hall by 6pm
Practise will start at 8am and each class will have 15 minutes practise.
Drivers Briefing will be 8.50 and racing will begin 9am.
Our track will be 30mtrs x 16mtrs with plenty of pitting space
(8 rolls of GT Prima felt)
There is limited power so please bring 12 volts in a plastic container
We have also purchased an electronic score-board from Ride Scoreboards
For safety, there will be sand buckets on site, in case of cell degradation. These will be kept next to race control.
For each round you attend, you will be assigned a "raffle number". You can monitor these from the website where you can see the numbers assigned and this sheet will be printed off before the draw at the 6th round before the draw. These raffle numbers will go towards the Muchmore UK bonus raffle.
Those who have booked into 4+ rounds by the start of Rugracers will receive a sheet of Muchmore UK Rugracer decals:
There J.F. Courtesy Cup will be presented to the person
which we, the HRCC committee, feels that has warranted this trophy over the
whole of the series.
You will need to complete at least 4 rounds out of the 6, to achieve this.
7 raffles to be held throughout the MM-RR series. 6 to the value of £150 RRP
per meeting.
1 x MM-RR Bonus Raffle for the "MM-RR" series for the last round given out
when Trophys will be presented in the presentation room,
For the "MM-RR Bonus Raffle" there will be a 1st prize of £150 RRP 2nd prize
£100 RRP 3rd prize £50 RRP and a few smaller prizes of SWEEP 32 wheels &
tires motor cleaner etc.
Selections Racing will be our shop on site for all your needs. If you require

Andy Oldman, will again be our Race Controller for MM-RR who also runs the very
successful STCC series. You will be able to use AMB PT's and the MRT versions.
There is a cafeteria on site, which will be open around 10.30-1.30.
There are also vending machines for cold/hot drinks and crisps etc.
Rules/Additional info:
Muchmore U.K. Rugracers On site shop
1. The control tire will be the EXP SWP-32C - Sweep Pre-Built 32deg Control tire
(tires/wheels/inserts will be pink colour/gluedx4)RRP of £21.99. The NEW wheel
will be fluorescent yellow(Easily distinguishable from other prebuilt sets used in the UK).
2. Each round will consist 3 rounds (4 if time allows, which it generally tends
to) of qualifying (FTD qualifying) with 2 finals.
3. Best 4 out of 6 results to count towards overall championship placing.
4. There will be 3 TC classes:
a. Stock(TC3): 27t brushed single Re-buildable Stock motor and 13.5
brushless, 6 cell Sub-C or LiPo. Cars are to be no less than 1350 grams
including a PT,
b. Pro-Stock(TC2): 19t brushed single Re-buildable Stock motor and 10.5
brushless. 6 cell Sub-C or LiPo. Cars are to be no less than 1350grams
including a PT,
c. Modified(TC1):
Modified brushed and brushless 5 Sub-C cell. Cars are to be no less than 1350
grams including a PT.
Update - You may now run 6 cell NiMH or any commercially available LiPo but you
will be restricted to any commercially available 6.5t BL motor. Cars running 6
cell or LiPo must weigh 1425g
5. All 1/10th scale TC cars must not be less than 5mm
ground clearance
6. Only the control additive(TBC) can be used.
(Must use wiped off, in the area provided. Any car on
the track with wet tyres will be removed)
7. Any shell can be used for all TC classes, as long as it represents a touring
car
8. We expect you to marshal as you would expect to be marshalled please!
Anyone not out to marshal by the start of the next heat
will lose their FTD.
9. Scrutineering will not be overly strict. We will be checking tyres, ride
height, and weight randomly.
We reserve the right to randomly check motors and
batteries if we feel it is appropriate.
10. All motors must be commercially available. No specials, no hybrids. BL
motors can be sensored or sensorless. Motors do not have to be on the BRCA
approved lists, and can be any make and model that is commercially available in
the UK.
11. PT's would be preferred, but there is one bank of AMB transponders
available.
All Cars should be going to scrutineering after each
race so there is no excuse for Transponders not to be returned!
12. The cost per entry will be £8.00 for anyone who pre-books through CentralBooking. Anyone booking in on the day will be charged £10.
We would like to make it clear, that anyone who has not
pre-paid online has NOT confirmed their booking.
